We Encourage Experiential Travel
There’s a version of travel where you watch a place go by from behind glass. We’ve never been interested in that one. The Atticus Hotel was built for guests who want to lean in a little closer — to sit at the table, linger over the wine, and leave feeling like they got to know McMinnville rather than just pass through it. We believe the soul of a place reveals itself slowly, and only to those willing to stay a while in its heart.

Our Approach Defines Your Experience
A great Pinot carries the hillside it grew on in every glass. We think about our hotel the same way. Every detail here — the art on the walls, the coffee waiting in your room, the stories our staff love to share over dinner — grows out of the same soil as McMinnville itself: creative, warm, a little independent-minded, and endlessly proud of where it comes from. We’ve spent our whole lives getting to know this valley’s back roads and quiet favorites, and nothing makes us happier than passing that knowledge along to you.
We’re independently owned and operated, which gives us the freedom to define luxury our own way. To us, it’s never been about thread count or plush robes — it’s in the details too thoughtful to mass-produce: furniture and art from local makers, hazelnuts you could trace back to the orchard, a glass of locally made bubbly waiting for you at check-in. It’s why no two of our 36 rooms look quite the same, and why we hope you’ll spend as much time exploring our building, our restaurant, and our team’s favorite recommendations as you do the valley around us.
The moment you walk through our doors, you’re not just a guest. You’re a local — for the length of your stay, and a little bit forever after.
